Kashmir : 3 Pakistan sponsored terrorists neutralised by Indian force
Three Pakistan sponsored terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) /TRF neutralised in an encounter between terrorists and a team of Srinagar Police & Security Forces in Nowgam, Srinagar, Kashmir. Huge cache of Arms/ammunition including AK series rifle, Pistols, live rounds recovered.
Three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists involved in the last week’s killing of Khanmoh’s Sarpanch (village head) Sameer Bhat were on Wednesday gunned down in an encounter in Srinagar’s Nowgam area said the IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar.
Based on specific inputs about the presence of terrorists in Nowgam area, Indian armed forces joint team including Army, CRPF and J&K Police cordoned the area and launched a search operation.
All three Pakistan sponsored terrorists were trapped in a housee in the Nowgam area in the outskirts of Srinagar and the encounter broke out when they opened fire at the security forces.
Police said the search operation turned into an encounter when the terrorists opened fire at the security personnel, armed forces later retaliated.
